Assessment of Bacteria, Morphological Characteristics, and Elemental Composition of Dust Fallout

چکیده
Dust fallout can have diverse impacts ranging from major health problems to environmental concerns. It harbour disease-causing microorganisms and toxic heavy metals, it is therefore critical establish the microbial mineral compositions of dust in a particular site elucidate possible related implications for humans entire environment. In this study, samples were collected Arandis, town Erongo region (Namibia), using American Society Testing Materials standard method (ASTM D1739) collection analysis (settleable particulate matter). The identification present viable bacteria was done through culturing isolation techniques morphological characteristics, elemental composition determined Stereomicroscope X-ray fluorescence, respectively. results showed that most dominant contained Bacillus species. characterisation revealed particles mixed black, brownish, greenish, crystal with irregular, cubical, flocks flake shapes. investigations indicated Hg, As, Fe, Ni, Cr, Mn, Al Pb occurring varying concentrations status pollution ranged low severe concerning inconsistent metal indices are contamination factor, load index enrichment factor.
